Ten Commandments
These are the ten commandments.
Supposed to be obeyed/ followed by all christians round the world..
It's a way their life should be followed..
Something like a basic necessity..
Even non-christians also follow somewhat some of the commandments..
Especially the ones on the right - MAN
If non-christians are able to do that..
So should christians..
I've seen many friends who proclaim themselves religious christians..
who claim they seek their God's help fervently..
Yet they can't follow just 10 commandments..
Two simple examples:
5. Honor Your Father and Mother
9. Do Not Lie
Although I'm not familiar with the bible..
I don't think that the bible did state:
Only follow the commandments under "so-and-so circumstances"
Did not remember any *terms and conditions apply..
White lies or black lies or rainbow lies..
Or whether our mum and dad has to treat us towards our favor before we respect them..
I've been in the Boys' Brigade before..
It's a christian organization..
Bible study is somewhat compulsory..
And i did that for 5 years..
Thought I'm not a christian myself..
But I know some facts well..
I once viewed a christian as someone that is of very high qualities..
but ever since quite a few incidents that happened..
Maybe it was a total showoff..
Not all of them are the same..
Some only speak and type..
But actions still speak louder than words..
Only when trouble comes hopping their way into their lives..
Then they call help for God..
When all goes well..
They are just who they are..
Someone once told me:
Only repent if you are determined to change, otherwise forget it.
It's as good as dieting.
